Choco Café - Kuwait Missoni Hotel

Choco Cafe is located in the Missoni Hotel Kuwait in Symphoney complex on the Gulf road Salmiya, on the same road of the American University of Kuwait

When we first walked in, we were greeted "Bueno Sera"  by a European hostess (Which I realized that most the waiters and waitresses were from).The waiters together with the colorful furniture and wonderful decoration gives you this modern Italian relaxing and inviting atmosphere.

Choco Cafe offers salads, sandwiches and a wide selection of dessert I havent tried any of the salads or sandwiches, I only had some drinks and dessert.

The waiters were very friendly and helpful, they went through the menu with us and recommended some drinks.

Overall its a nice place if your looking for a quiet relaxing evening out for some delicious dessert, or also great for afternoon tea.

World's Most Expensive iPad 2

Stuart Hughes designs the most expensive and luxurious iPad 2, the masterpiece has a front frame made from a 75 million years old Ammolite stone one of the rarest gemstone on earth. Adding to the uniqueness, he splintered a 65 million year old T-REX Dinosaur's thigh bone and shaved into the Ammolite.

The iPad 2 gold history edition from Stuart Hughes include 12.5ct diamonds and a total of 53 individual sparkling diamond stones on the solid 24ct Apple iPad 2 logo and 24ct gold on the rear side.

Only 2 pieces are made and cost £5 million (around KWD 2.5 million).

Caramel Bakery & Sweets - Kuwait

I visit Caramel almost every fortnight since they moved from Salhiya to Bneid AlGar where they have made some tremendous developements over the past 3 years especially after there last renovation which converted the store into a pastel coloured dessert haven. The colourful wallpaper and delicate decoration with the marshmallow and candy filled jars give you the sense of traveling back in time to an old fashioned American candy store from the 60's.

Caramel offers a wide variety of freshly baked cakes some of their most famous cakes include the pumkin cake, the delicious carrot cake, and the chocolate snickers cheese cake you maybe familiar with some of these cakes because they used to be served at Caribou Coffee Kuwait. 

Most of their cakes are offered in a variety of sizes: a standard full size, saucer size and mini size. All of the cakes are now presented in purple and green pastel boxes which are newly designed that match the colour theme of the bakery which is a refreshing change from the plain white boxes they used to use.
