حظـّي أسْعدني بلاثْنين

نار تحت الرماد

صديقي صاحب العدسة المتميزة طلال البناي عاشق للنظر وصائد للحظات الجميلة، أرسل لي منذ فترة قريبة رابط لفيلم قصير (سامع كلام) من فكرة بدر المطلق وإنتاج فرقة العمران الفنية
وهو فيلم قصير مدته 10 دقائق وذو ميزانية لا تتجاوز إعلان نعي في احد الجرائد اليومية إلا انه - برأيي المتواضع – أحد أفضل الأفلام المؤثرة والتي تصف جانباً من جوانب المجتمع الخليجي وقد لا أبالغ ان قلت بأنه أفضل من المسلسلات الرمضانية (التي تمتد لـ 30 يوما) والتي تصرف عليها ميزانيات مساوية لميزانية احدى وزارات جمهورية جزر القمر وفي النهاية يخرج المشاهد منها بحصيلة جيدة من الإسفاف ولزمة جديدة يضفيها إلى قاموس: (أي شي، حده ، راعيها، شايف نفسه وغيرها من الكلمات) !!


يروي الفيلم قصة عن فقدان احد الأشخاص لحاسة السمع بعد وفاة زوجته وخلال هذه الفترة يلتقي بجيرانه وأبناءه بكل محبة ومودة، حامداً لربه على نعمة البصر التي تجعله يرى ابناءه وجيرانه، إلى أن يأتي أحد الجيران له بسماعة خاصة للأذن تجعله يسمع من جديد وحينها يدرك بأن الأبناء والجيران كانوا يتحدثون بسوء عنه مما أثر عليه بشكل سلبي مفضلاً فقدان السمع طيلة حياته ولسان حاله يقول: (الجهل نعمة !!!) فإحساسه وشعوره بالظلم والقهر في المعاملة من قبل الابناء والجيران جعلاه يرمي سماعته الخاصة .


الإحساس بالظلم إحساس خانق وقاتل (سواء كان ناتج من أسباب حقيقية أو وهمية) تجعل المرء يفكر بشكل غير عقلاني (في بعض الحالات المتطرفة) ويتصرف بناء عليه، الا ان اتخاذ موقف ايجابي بغض النظر عن تصرفات الآخرين قد يكون هو التصرف المناسب في مواجهة الظلم، فكم من حادثة وجريمة سببها عدم تحمل الشخص للظلم لحظتها فاقداً لوعيه ساعة تصرفه، ولعل احد اهم اسباب قيام الثورات في المنطقة العربية في الآونة الاخيرة هو شعور المواطن العربي بالظلم والاضطهاد في وطنه، فكما قيل قديما بأن العدل اساس الملك، والأسباب التي جعلت شاباً في مقتبل العمر ان يفقد ثقته بالنظام ويحرق نفسه بالتالي لهي جديرة بأن يتم التحقق منها والتأكد من مدى صحتها على أقل تقدير.


وسواء كانت المعاملة السيئة لخدم المنزل او تعنت مسئول في العمل او تجاهل مطالب المواطنين فان أسوأ تصرف تجاه هؤلاء الناس هو الاصرار في ارتكاب الاخطاء ذاتها وعدم الاستماع لهم، فاستهانة مجموعة من الأشخاص بمطالب المظلومين وتجاهلها والاعتقاد في قرارة انفسهم بأن لهم الحق الالهي في فعل ما يريدون -دون النظر إلى نتائج قرارتهم وأفعالهم- وان قراراتهم المبنية على حالة المزاج الشخصي (اليومي) يؤيدها الشرع ويباركها المنافقون هو بلا شك الطريق المؤدي إلى الهاوية في الدنيا قبل الآخرة.

يقول رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم:
"ألا كلكم راع وكلكم مسئول عن رعيته".

Japan's Catastrophe

On 11 March 2011 Japan was hit with a disaster an earthquake of 8.9 magtitude followed by a major tsunami. Tokyo National Police Agency reported 668 people dead, 642 missing and over 1,570 injured in the disaster on Friday afternoon.

Japan has proven to be a nation that overcomes catastrophes. The canastrophes that hit them in the past only made them stronger and better, we hope that they will be able to overcome this sad catastrophe and become better and work harder

iPad 2

Apple's CEO and icon Steve Jobs unveiled the iPad 2 yesterday March 2nd 2011. Jobs appearance was surprising however to many made it all worthy to the event.

iPad 2's new feature quickly are:
1) Faster: To be honest I never heard anyone complain about iPad 1 being slow
2) Thinner & Lighter: well the ipad's size never bothered anyone.
3) Comes in black or white: Does it really make a big difference ?
4) Has Cameras: This is not a new technology most mobile phones have this option since 5 years ago

I'm really not sure if I really need this iPad 2 however now it's like we have to buy all or most apple products so we'll see.

Facebook Revolution

The views on facebook and twitter changed from a place where people had nothing useful to say to a place where your voices are heard.

CRAZY GADHAFI

Protest in Libya started after the arrest of a human rights attorney on February 15 around 2,000 people were reported to demonstrate overnight at the city of Benghazi where the attorney was arrested. A couple of people started shouting anti goverment slogans and it just took off. By Febryuary, 20, 84 people reported dead in Libya.

According to a statement from the U.N., Secretary General Ban Ki-moon spoke to Gadhafi and “expressed deep concern at the escalating scale of violence and emphasized that it must stop immediately.”

“We are calling on the Libyan authorities to stop the violence against their own people,” German Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters at a press conference.

Today the whole world is concerned for Libya and the people of Libya, and are asking violence to stop immediately.

But Ghadafi insist that every one else is hullucinating and he is tied to his people and doesnt want to leave them, he is still in denial.

So who is Hullucinating and how is he going to end it ? 

Ladurée Kuwait

After all the bad reviews I read and all the negative recomendations I heard, I wasn't so keen on visiting Laduree Kuwait. However the other day I was at 360 mall to pay my phone bills and do some shopping and I wanted to have a cup of coffee and Laduree was empty so I thought I'll drop by and try it out for myself.

As we walked in a waiteress walked towards us and told us to have a seat where ever we wish. As soon as we sat down she handed us the menus, while reading the menu I asked her to prepare me a latte and she replied back "we dont serve latte's" I was suprised, however then she offered me black coffee ?!, any way I ended up with an espresso macchiato 

I ordered a selection of their famous macaroons they were quite delightful. However what caught my eyes in the menu was that in one of their desserts ingredients they had a sponge cake soaked  in old dark rum. It was very surprising to find an alcoholic bevarage as an ingredient for a cake in a muslim country like Kuwait, Its always a good idea to cross check things like this to avoid cross-cultural mistakes like this one.

Anyway when I asked the waitress if this contains rum she said "no", and I said it says that in the menu, she replied back "I know sir we told the manager however he didn't want to change the original menu" (she's trying to make excuses for herself instead of supporting the management's decision to preserve the authencticity of the menu). I think it's misleading to put wrong information on the menu.

Clearly the staff need a little more training, as they are not familiar with the menu and do not know how to deal with customers (trying to blame management and they gathered in the corner of the cafe to chat).
